AGRAL s. r. o. is a publishing house issuing food industry periodicals. By its titles, it covers all Czech Republic; a number of its readers are also in Slovakia. It started its activities in 1995 following the activity of MVDr. Josef Radoš who, in 1992, started issuing the publication “Řeznicko/uzenářské noviny” (Newspaper of Butchers and Smoked Meat Processors). Dr. Radoš was at the beginning of all our titles and issued in our publishing house also a number of his expert as well as historically oriented titles relating to the trade of butchers and smoked meat processors.
AGRAL s. r. o. is the affiliated member of the Chamber of Food Industries of the Czech Republic, member of the Czech Association of Meat Processors, and the important promotor of the competition “Dobrý potravinářský výrobek Česká chuťovka“ (Good Food Product Czech Delicacy). A collective of the publishing house members and individual workers of the editorial staff are professionally qualified, trained in the journalism or food industry fields, with their practical experience of the production and circulation of food products when they are especially aware of the personalities and relations in food industry and trade. In addition, they are informed about the current issues of food industry policy, including general policy, it means our, European as well as global one.
The references of our readers and evaluation of the level of our titles by now suggest that we are on the right way. We would like to continue the direction we have already taken and not to disappoint our readers, continuing bringing new and amusing information for them.
